i feel like a total pig, disapearing from LJ all this time. it started off with me getting my computer reinstalled, after which i lost all my bookmarks. and basically i just kept on lolling about and not doing anything, except for posting non personal outfit pictures etc on my fashion blog.

Thanks to yishui for sending me a reminder to come back lol :) anyway, how has everyone been? i just finished my exams so i'm over the moon. who wants to come join me up here?

Today I was randomly browsing through DeviantArt (www.deviantart.com) when I came upon an artist called Noel Cruz who paints on 3D canvases, namely dolls. So I browsed through his gallery, expecting dolls drawn over with permanent markers and lips gorily painted with red ink. But instead, what I saw was:

I seriously stared at that Angelina Jolie doll for a full 2 minutes until I managed any words at all. And when they did come out, they were the likes of: "OMG" "WOW" "Amaaazing!!"

I am seriously so amazed by his talent! How can anyone paint on such a small area of "canvas"? And so amazingly, to boot? I am stunned, absolutely stunned.
I heard that the Angelina doll was sold for, like, $3500 on ebay. If I have cash like that, I'd definitely invest too (too bad I don't).

After months of looking at the same blog layout, I finally decided to stop being a lazy cow and find some css. I admit I was a bit sneaky and checked out a few of your layouts and where you got them from (hehe) and I found one I really liked at tillyness. I kind of played around with the background image and codings. I'm not too sure about the background though. Is it too plain? Tell me what you think!

Mathias Lauridsen is now my male model crush. His looks are so stunning!
He's got that dangerous eye thing going on, which I think is really tempting. I would hate having him as a brother - I wouldn't be able to go out with him then! I feel sorry for his sisters, if he has any.

I tested around with nail ideas today and this is what I came up with. Kind of an invert french manicure. I think I'll try polkadots next week :D

I actually made this combination at the start of Summer, but I never posted it so it got lost and I forgot about it blah blah. Hopefully this outfit can also be worn in chillier days too? Style Check: Shopping Outfit

It's been quite some time since I last posted a Victoiree Style Check, and today seemed a good day as any to post one again. This time, I opted for the theme of "Summer Shopping Outfit". As a girl who loves to shop, I've always been careful to dress casually when I do my shopping. For instance, a flowy white above-the-knees dress with ballerinas and a big handbag; this outfit is simple and very easy to get out of when you're trying out something. Wearing a beaded silk top with ten necklaces and a belt as well as skin-tight jeans would be quite a struggle to get out of. This Style Check is an outfit I put together of a typical shopping outfit, I would definitely wear when I do my shopping.

It's been a while since I last posted a Victoiree Style Check, so this one took me pretty long to do :P or maybe I'm just searching for excuses :)
My favourite color at the moment is purple, which is why I was so attracted to Miss Hilton's bag (since when did her legs become SO skinny??). I created two similar outfits, both with gorgeous purple bags :) I hope you like this!

Lately I've been very obsessed with pop colors: jeans, bags, dresses etc so I immediately fell in love with Nicole's complete black outfit with a pop colored Chanel bag. The style is elegant, simple and very cute. I created two similar outfits according to Nicole's both with pop colored bags. LOL I know it's summer and that it's boiling outside and that these outfits would seriously be hated by anyone wearing it in such weather, but I seriously couldn't resist :P

With Spring comes florals and with florals comes a new set of dresses to add to your wardrobe :) I really like how runways are bringing back the obviousness of spring with its symbols - patterns and flowery dresses! As an inspiration (mostly from trendsetters like Agyness Deyn and the Anna Sui fashion show) I decided to create two different looks with floral dresses too!

The first one is a casual day look with a simple flowing look. The second one is suitable for a night event or a daring clubbing night with friends. I'm not too sure about the color combinations though, so I'd love to hear what you think!

I just watched the Twilight trailer after having read in your blogs about it coming out. And I have to say that Robert Pattinson is perfect and that Kirstin Stewart is a damn good Bella.

Apparently, we should all bring barf bags with us to the cinemas when we watch the film, as there is so much chemistry between the two that a lot of "hyperventilation" will be going on (Stephenie Meyer's words, not mine!) Hopefully, Austria will actually PLAY it in the cinemas, as it often is picky and doesn't do so :(

I loved the bright runway look, so I decided to make it realway! I started the outfit by choosing bright yellow dresses - number 1 is a tad more dressier and more suitable for parties, whereas number 2 can be worn to any occasion really. The black button-up jackets add a bit more class to the outfit, whereas the red pumps add more sexiness to it.

Celeb Style Check - Rachel Bilson

Inspired by whowhatweardaily I've decided to start my very own Victoiree Style Check, creating outfits after various inspirational oufits.

Today, my inspiration is actress Rachel Bilson. Her simply but yet chic combination of simple black cardigan and gray jeans, matched with red bag and shoes, is a great outfit to wear absolutely anywhere - school, hot date, work.

I put together two outfits that share the same simplicity - and hopefully also the same chicness. In both, there are black tops and gray jeans, fairly simple. The bag and shoes are the same color as well. Since it's spring, I chose colors that are bright and colorful.

If you read this entry, I'd love to hear what you think about this new idea! And if you have any great outfit combinations by celebs or models etc, simply send the url to me and I'll do my best to create new outfits according to those :)

I'm not a great fan of Ashlee Simpson's music, but I have to admit, her new hair color really suits her.

Blonde was never really her color and black just made her look wannabe-punky (I'm glad that both she and Avril got out of that stage!). Red really fits her well. Plus, I think she and Pete Wentz make a great couple. I read somewhere that they might be engaged.

Yeah! I'm in one of those "tell the world who I think is hawt" moods, so here I am posting pictures of my favourite (male) celebrities :) Okay, so some of them aren't very talented, but who cares? Lindsay and Mischa when they had baby phat! :D lol I just look at the way they are grinning! Especially Lindsay. Mischa was probably a mysterious child and could act her way out of anything. I'm not that sure about Lindsay though...
Seriously, why did they change? Because one of the two grew up to be a teen alcoholic and is getting on everyone's nerves.

A short story I wrote in german class (the grammar is all over the place, and i haven't had a chance to correct it yet). We're reading the book "Die Verwandlung" by Franz Kafka. I kind of really hate it. Ah well, school is school.

Als Nadine eines Morgens aus unrihugen Träumen erwachte, fand sie sich umgeben von eine Gruppe von Schmetterlinge. Zuerst war sie begeistert, sicher, dass sie sich noch in einem Traum fand. Die Schmetterlinge waren gelb und hatten rotten punkten auf ihre Flügeln. Ihre kleinen schwarzen Augen reflektierten das Licht von ihrer Betteslampe, also sah es aus als wäre sie am Feuer. Etwas war merkwurdig, aber Nadine wusste nicht was es war.
Plötzlich begann einer der Schmetterlinge zu sprechen. Nadine sah es an, verwundert. „Wir brauchen Blumen,“ sagte der Schmetterling, der offensichtlich der Führer war. „Bringen sie uns den schönsten Blumen von ihrer Garten und bringen sie es zu uns.“
Nadine wusste nicht was sie tun soll. Sie war natürlich in einen Traum, weil Schmetterlinge in den wirklichen Welt nicht sprechen können, aber alles sah so echt aus. Nadine starrte der Leiterschmetterling an, und traf auf einer Entscheidung.
„Ja, natürlich bringe ich euch Blumen! Tulpen, Rosen, Osterglocken, Gänseblümchen...“
Nadine war schon aufgestanden. Sie zog einer lässigen T-shirt an und Jogging-Hose. Dann ging sie runter zu ihr kleiner Garten. Als sie in ihrem Garten arbeitet, schauten die ganzen Schmetterlinge sie an.
„Glauben sie, dass sie der jener ist, den wir gesucht haben?“ fragte einer der Schmetterlinge an ihrer Führer.
„Ja. Ich bin sicher,“ antwortet er.
Im Garten, arbeitet Nadine hart an ihrer Blumen. Sie hatte schon eine grosse Korb voll mit Blumen ausgefüllt. Nach ein paar minuten, als she ihrer Arbeit beendete, ging sie zurück zu ihrer Schlafzimmer mit das Korb.
Sobald sie die Tür öffnete, flogen die Schmetterlinge alle an sie. Nadine sturtze an die Treppen, und als sie herunterfiel, zerquetschte sie einer Schmetterling gegen die Wang. Es starb sofort.
Nadine landete hart an der unteren Stufe und alles würde Schwarz.

Als Nadine eines Morgens aus unrihugen Träumen erwachte, fand sie sich in ihrer gelben Zimmer. Sie stand auf und ziehte eine Pullover und blaue Jeans an. Dann ging sie runter die Treppen um Frühstuck zu haben. An der mittere Treppe, stoppte sie. An der Wand war etwas gelbes und rotes, mit Flügeln.
Einer zerquetschte Schmetterling.

I'm in a bad mood and it totally does not help that Paris Hilton is wearing another t-shirt with her own face on it. I think I've seen her wearing [different] shirts of herself at least half a dozen times. And I don't usually flick over gossip magazines, so I guess that's saying a lot.
But just look at her in this pic:

I have nothing against pink, I seriously don't. it's actually one of my favourite colors. But I just get so annoyed with Paris wears pink! Especially, when the pink item in question has her own damned face on it. Ugh!!

If you're on the cover of a magazine, that photo of you is supposed to be alluring/pretty/hot/at least good right?? then I seriously don't get how you can look like a drunk face-expressionist with something dangerous going on by the eyebrows.
Just check out James McAvoy's face expression here:

I mean, he's clean shaven and everything (finally!) But his face looks like he's looking into the sun or something. Or maybe he's just really cranky because the photographer's bossy.
But he IS hot (i loved him best in Penelope I think), but PLEASE lower the eyebrows!
