Style Check - Prints Charming

With Spring comes florals and with florals comes a new set of dresses to add to your wardrobe :) I really like how runways are bringing back the obviousness of spring with its symbols - patterns and flowery dresses! As an inspiration (mostly from trendsetters like Agyness Deyn and the Anna Sui fashion show) I decided to create two different looks with floral dresses too!

The first one is a casual day look with a simple flowing look. The second one is suitable for a night event or a daring clubbing night with friends. I'm not too sure about the color combinations though, so I'd love to hear what you think!

the twilight fan that I am

I just watched the Twilight trailer after having read in your blogs about it coming out. And I have to say that Robert Pattinson is perfect and that Kirstin Stewart is a damn good Bella.

Apparently, we should all bring barf bags with us to the cinemas when we watch the film, as there is so much chemistry between the two that a lot of "hyperventilation" will be going on (Stephenie Meyer's words, not mine!) Hopefully, Austria will actually PLAY it in the cinemas, as it often is picky and doesn't do so :(

Style check - Tommy Hilfiger

I loved the bright runway look, so I decided to make it realway! I started the outfit by choosing bright yellow dresses - number 1 is a tad more dressier and more suitable for parties, whereas number 2 can be worn to any occasion really. The black button-up jackets add a bit more class to the outfit, whereas the red pumps add more sexiness to it.

Tell me what you think about these outfits! And don't forget - feel free to send me any photos of your style icon or favourite celebrity in a great outfit!

Celeb Style Check - Rachel Bilson

Inspired by whowhatweardaily I've decided to start my very own Victoiree Style Check, creating outfits after various inspirational oufits.

Today, my inspiration is actress Rachel Bilson. Her simply but yet chic combination of simple black cardigan and gray jeans, matched with red bag and shoes, is a great outfit to wear absolutely anywhere - school, hot date, work.

I put together two outfits that share the same simplicity - and hopefully also the same chicness. In both, there are black tops and gray jeans, fairly simple. The bag and shoes are the same color as well. Since it's spring, I chose colors that are bright and colorful.

If you read this entry, I'd love to hear what you think about this new idea! And if you have any great outfit combinations by celebs or models etc, simply send the url to me and I'll do my best to create new outfits according to those :)

Red Hair Stuff
I'm not a great fan of Ashlee Simpson's music, but I have to admit, her new hair color really suits her.

Blonde was never really her color and black just made her look wannabe-punky (I'm glad that both she and Avril got out of that stage!). Red really fits her well. Plus, I think she and Pete Wentz make a great couple. I read somewhere that they might be engaged.

If you're interested, here are some facts about red hair:

Redheads have the least hair at 80,000 (the average is about 150,000 hairs on a scalp)

60% of women who dye their hair do so at home; 26% go blonde, 27% go basic brunette and 30% choose to become redheads.

Only 4% of people have real red hair. Most of them live in the UK, Ireland and Australia

Redheads don’t turn grey. They just turn sandy, then white.

In Greek Mythology, redheads turn into Vampires when they die.

The first human redheads first appeared about 50,000 years ago in Africa and then spread throughout Northern Europe

The country name of Russia means “land of reds” in honor of a redheaded Viking called Rurik

Archaeological digs in Takla Makan – the Chinese desert – discovered mummified redheads dating back 3000 years.

Bees are thought to sting redheads more than others.

Hopefully, the above entry has inspired you to get red hair too! Or a red wig at least :P

The Hot Boys Awards
Yeah! I'm in one of those "tell the world who I think is hawt" moods, so here I am posting pictures of my favourite (male) celebrities :) Okay, so some of them aren't very talented, but who cares? I mean, it's not as if I'm gonna ever meet them or marry them (harhar...i wish!) so I guess I'm allowed to be a silly and naive girl :P Too bad I can't be this silly about my real love life (which is currently none-existent...ah well)...

And the winners are... )
